Campaign Watch Sites
- Project Vote Smart
- A very in-depth resource for information about elected officials and candidates for offices at all levels of government from Federal to local. Includes information about candidates' voting records as well as their stated positions on issues. Searchable by area or name.
- Presidency2000 at Politics1.com
- Information pages for all the major and minor candidates, including biographical information; links to official, unofficial, parody and negative websites; consise analyses of each candidate; lists of endorsements; contact information; and published writings. An exhaustive list of candidates, including such obscure parties as the Light, Bull Moose, and Priorities parties.
- Federal Election Commission
- With separate sections specifically geared toward the citizen, the candidate and the media, this site offers varied and detailed information about the processes of elections and campaigns. A nicely-organized site with useful information.
- Presidential Campaign 2000
- Specially created by the search engine Northern Light, this page offers links to the major candidates' sites, to news and analysis sources, and to sites related to campaign issues, conventions, primaries and caucuses.
News Sites
- Washington Post: Elections 2000
- News and analysis from the national campaign, and some information about local campaigns as well (primarily for Maryland and Virginia, but some basic information about Georgia is available). Of particular interest is the Ad Watch section, which presents the presidential candidates' television spots along with a brief analysis of each ad's claims.
- C-SPAN Campaign 2000
- News, analysis, coverage of events and candidate appearances. Almost all the information on this site is straight C-SPAN television footage re-transmitted in RealVideo format; you will need RealPlayer (free version available) to view it.
- NetElection
- A joint production of Slate Magazine and The Industry Standard, this site features election news and analysis with a focus on Internet issues.

Georgia Election Resources
- Vote Central
- A clearinghouse for election information aimed specifically at Georgia voters. Includes little original content, but offers a well-organized set of links to scheduled events, voter registration information, candidates' web sites and past election results.
- League of Women Voters of Georgia
- Provides names and contact information for current office holders in both the Federal and Georgia governments, as well as some nonpartisan analyses of issues. Most helpful is the Citizen's Handbook, which provides clear, concise information about voter registration and different types of elections.
